IPOSTEL, the designated postal operator of Venezuela (Bolivarian Rep.), informs that mail-handling staff at the international office of exchange have been on strike since last week. As a consequence, outgoing mail is being delayed.

Cuba – Move of International Office of Exchange
The designated postal operator of Cuba (Correos de Cuba) informs that the relocation of the international office of exchange will take longer than planned. As a result, there will continue to be delays in the processing of inbound and outbound dispatches until 14 May 2012.

Malaysia – End of Communication Problems
The designated postal operator of Malaysia informs that the severe disruption of e-mail systems, telephone lines and Rugby system at the Jalan Brickfields EMS centre in Kuala Lumpur yesterday has been resolved, and services have returned to normal.
